Join local underground promoter and witchhouse producer Ardes (https://ardes.bandcamp.com) in a workshop that will give students a solid foundation of making and sequencing beats using software and hardware drum machines and racks. Great drum programming makes every track sound better! Create fills, learn how to build and layer drum parts, and drop four on the floor to make people dance.
No experience necessary and all equipment provided. Students with previous beatmaking experience are encouraged to attend and take their skills to the next level. Classes are held in a stimulating environment with approximately eight learners and two teachers. Some music in class is amplified over loudspeakers. A typical class starts with a group lesson and is followed by individual and collaborative work time.
